Hi friends. Jenna here. Wanted to let you all know we are still alive! A mixture of busyness and difficult circumstances have kept Bill from posting, please excuse.
We’ve continued to have car troubles even with the new-to-us truck, Boinga the Bongo. She broke down when Bill drove to San Jose to pick up our friend Foster from the airport the last week of March. She is still in the care of a mechanic in the city and we are at the farm, car-less l, save for borrowing our neighbor’s. We can also take the bus to town if needed but so far we have not. Please pray she will be fixed soon (their estimate is April 25, one week before our departure back to the States).
Over a week ago we were made aware of a leak in our water main which made our water bill astronomical. Not a fun discovery. The leak is fixed and hopefully April’s bill will be back to normal.
A friend and neighbor that has helped out on our property for years has been sick and is now on his deathbed. Please pray for his family. He has 5 adult children and around 10 grandchildren and they are quite distraught. He has been ill for many months and they have witnessed his rapid decline over the past 5-6 weeks. Our hearts go out to them, we’ve been trying to help them as we’ve been able.
Bill will give his own update soon. We’re trying hard to trust God through all this. He is still good, as always! It’s been a month of testing; there has been so much going on with all these challenges and there is much work to do before we travel back to Seattle in early May. Theeeen there is a lot to do in Seattle (purging the rest of our possessions in our apartment there). It is easy for me to become overwhelmed. But I will keep trusting Him!
